About This Spot

Stepping into Franklin’s Tower feels like finding a familiar secret tucked away in the heart of Spring, Texas. It’s the kind of bar that welcomes you with a laid-back pace—unrushed and easygoing—where the air hums with the quiet joy of shared stories and familiar faces. From the moment you arrive on Treaschwig Road, the unpretentious charm of this spot invites you to settle in, whether at the long wooden bar or among the clusters of well-worn tables.

The vibe here is a warm blend of classic Texas icehouse meets dive bar, with a hint of hippie spirit that colors the space as much as the weekend live music that fills it. It’s never flashy, but it feels alive—the kind of place where the bartenders know your name, and where the community seems to naturally gather. Regulars and newcomers alike share in the easy camaraderie, and the friendly staff play a quiet but vital role in making everyone feel part of the fold.

On any given visit, you might find yourself day-drinking with friends over cold beers like Michelob Ultra or Crawford Bock, while the scent of a nearby food truck mingles with hints of salty seafood from the menu’s standout boils and crab legs. There’s something comfortingly uncurated about the food offerings — a late-night frozen pizza might even make an appearance, reinforcing that this is a space for genuine moments, not fancy dining.

Beyond the drinks and bites, Franklin’s Tower thrives on its atmosphere of connection. The ample parking and clean facilities make it inviting, but it’s the laughter over a pool tournament or the friendly challenge of a Street Fighter match that make it memorable. This isn’t a place that rushes you out; it’s a place that welcomes slowing down, simple pleasures, and the unspoken warmth of belonging.

We’ve been coming to this little gem for many years. It’s got a chill, hippie, classic Texas ice-house, dive bar vibe… all rolled up into a full service bar (and typically with a food truck parked out front). Enjoy awesome live music on the weekends, you’ll never pay a cover charge. The bar staff are all fun and super friendly—they get to know the customers, treat you like family, and welcome in their regulars and new faces all the same. Come have a drink with us next time you’re looking for an empty barstool to plop down on—you won’t be disappointed.

Guys, this place is absolutely amazing. I always passed by this treehut little place for around 2 years, always curious but never tried to venture to it. I met my ppls up here randomly not realizing this was that tree hut place I’ve always passed. When I pulled up, I was greeted with AMAZING vibes from not only the bartender but from the other regulars hereb as well. I think having regulars is an automatic + cause it means they like their experiences here haha, but everyone here was awesome to be around, customers and workers, shout out to the beautiful blondie named Dailey!! She’s so cute and fun and so sweet. I met another worker here as well but can’t remember her name. She was sooooo sweet and kind, drinks are pretty good and they have a cute baby beer shot that’s not actually beer. I haven’t tried their food but off of drinks and company, I give a 5/5 THANK U DAILEYYYYY ILY

Pretty cool place to have a drink or a beer they have drink specials during the week and pool tournaments during the week, friendly people great staff! It's a large bar with possible frozen pizza they can heat up. Went during the week so they may possibly have more food options on the weekends

I've lived in this area for a few years and have gotten to know the staff here over time. They really take care of you and are super cool. Pro tip: If you can beat Mike at Street Fighter, a secret awaits you! (He's really good though, be warned)

One of my absolute favorite bars of all time. The staff is wonderful, the patrons are amazing, karaoke is welcoming and fun. You always have a fresh conversation with someone who's open minded and full of personality. The beer is cheap. You could walk around inside and out and admire the decor for hours. The pool tables aren't the best but they're good enough for sure and the players are warm and welcoming. I have a blast every time I step into this bar and it's dog friendly!

I really wanted to share my experience here. I went with a friend and we were there for a couple of hours we got some margaritas, they were really good, the prices were very decent, the music is amazing, they play a lil bit of everything, they have pool tables, table games, and like connect four, some chairs outside and some swings I really liked the place. BUT MOST IMPORTANT: My friend and I were playing uno on the bar and out of the sudden a guy showed up and he asked us if he could join us, we were like sure whatever then this guy was kinda bothering us and we were gonna leave and guess what The bartenders walked us out, the girl said go with them because that guy is weird, and the other bartender took us to our vehicle, I am extremely grateful for how they treated us and took care of us, please do not hesitate to visit this place btw they had nachos for free haha they were really good (the rest of the people were really cool except for that guy)
